Permalink theylooklikebigstronghands: mollybaker: theylooklikebigstronghands: captainweirdo: gloomykid: omfg i’m going to cry because of that comment. “what if the reason the creators of monsters inc. waited 12 years to make monsters university was because the kids who watched monsters inc. of ages 5, 6, and 7 years are now 17, 18, or 19 and off to college the same goes for toy story 3 and how andy was giving up his toys (his childhood) and moving on off to college as well? what if they wanted to say good bye to the child that loved their movies properly?” MY CHEST !  The reason Pixar waited so long before they started development on a sequel to Monster’s inc is because they used to be a studio that had pride in their productions and constantly came up with fresh ideas for stand alone movies. However, The Walt Disney Company have made it their ultimate goal to fuck as many franchises in the ass as they possibly can, and thanks to their full acquisition of Pixar in 2006, this studio is now being milked for everything it’s worth. All the most popular features are going to be turned into trilogies until interest in them is exhausted. Basically, Monster’s University shouldn’t happen. Neither should Finding Dory. And I’m going to cry the day they announce Toy Story 4. Fuck you, Disney. I thought they had already announced Toy Story 4? I heard they were gonna do a brand new trilogy just with that little girl as the owner  I don’t think anything has been officially confirmed yet. I can’t find anything about it on the internet anyway. T_T
